ROLE – Site Chemist (or Graduate Chemist) – Hazardous Waste
This role is site based so would suit a hands-on person that likes being outdoors as the role will be based on site 70% of the time.
Operation of FLT (training given)
You will work in a hazardous waste management processing yard. You will undertake unloading and testing incoming materials for Ph, flammability and compatibility for bulking, and ensure goods are correctly labelled. You will complete all relevant paperwork and ensure compliance within Safety, Environmental and Company policy.
EXPERIENCE – Site Chemist (Graduate Chemist) – Hazardous Waste
Due to the location a driving licence is essential.
You will be a Graduate Chemist to at least degree level. Related Subjects e.g. Biology, Biochemistry or Forensics will be considered at degree or masters level where sufficient Chemistry modules were included. Or you could be an experienced Site Chemist, Process Chemist, Technical Assessor, Transfer Station Chemist, Laboratory Technician, Industrial Chemist, Shift Chemist, or Reception Chemist with a HNC or above
Any forklift experience or yard or warehouse experience a plus, but full training given.
You will demonstrate willingness to work outside and may have interests that demonstrate that e.g. playing outdoor sports, Duke of Edinburgh, previous jobs, outdoor enthusiast
