Salary: £60-80k + uncapped bonus + car/car allowance + benefits

Location: South East/Midlands (Ideally located between the M25 ring and Birmingham, anywhere from the east to the west coast)

I am recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the Plastic Recycling sector. This a brilliant opportunity for a driven individual to join an established and constantly growing company with a clear vision, values, and strategy. They have worked hard on key points of differentiation and USP’s in a price-driven market to create a value proposition that far exceeds their competitors.

The Role:
You will be sourcing a wide range of plastics from a range of businesses nationally

Your market segment will include waste management companies, recycling organizations and facilities management companies (FM)
Your aim will be to focus on winning deals and beating the competition to consistently close sales whilst maintaining strong relationships throughout the whole of the supply chain. This will be from waste producers to collections and disposal companies to 3rd party hauliers and exporters.
You will sell at all levels including front line sales and commercial to shop floor operational and up to director level.

Previous industries: Waste Management / Commercial Waste / Household Waste / Business Waste / General Waste / Retail / Metals / Plastics / Cardboard / Municipal solid waste (MSW) / FM / Facilities Management / WEEE / Recycling

Previous Job Titles: Buyer, Procurement, Materials Sourcing, Supply Chain Co – Ordinator, Trader, Broker.

The Candidate:
Our client is looking for someone who aligns with their values of Teamwork, Add Value, Growth, Ownership and Gratefulness and most importantly to succeed you must enjoy what you do.

You will be goal-oriented with a proven track record of success in a sales and new business development role is a must. The ability to plan and execute sales strategically, but also the instinct to know that fast action outside of the plan to get the deal is also required on occasion. Ideally with a plastic background however all other waste and commodity sectors are considered.
