SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER IDEALLY WITH A BACKGROUND IN CONTRACTED SERVICES SUCH AS WASTE MANAGEMENT, PEST CONTROL, CARD SERVICES, SECURITY, COURIER SERVICES, CASH COLLECTIONS, WASHROOM SERVICES, FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES REQUIRED FOR GROWING BUSINESS IN THE SOUTH EAST
TITLE: Senior Sales Executive / Business Development Manager
SALARY: £40-50k base salary + Uncapped Commission + Car
LOCATION: Area Based role to cover Sussex area & into South Kent your location can be flexible.
Previous Titles: Senior Field Sales Executive, Senior New Business Development Executive, Salesperson, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager
You may come from any sales background, although any role where you have sold contracted services will be most suited such as Waste Management, Recycling, Pest Control, Card Services, Security, Courier Services, Cash Collections, Washroom Services, Facilities Management Services, Laundry Services, Workwear, Industrial Cleaning Services etc.
ROLE: Senior Sales Executive / Business Development Manager
You will generate and follow up leads also with following up lines of enquiry through the business, with a few to delivering new business sales for contracted waste collection services
You will cold call businesses, identify their current arrangements and identify opportunities to win business or note when contract renewals are up and schedule to visit later.
You will manage your sales and activity pipeline to create a steady flow of new customers into the business
EXPERIENCE: Senior Sales Executive / Business Development Manager
You will be a focused and positive individual for this new business focussed position where you are not afraid to get up and on the road, knocking on doors come rain or shine. You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a new business environment. You must be a self-motivated individual able to book your own appointments. You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You will be able to evidence sales performance in previous roles with any of the following: accolades / certificates, brag file, commission slips, league tables (vs other sales team members)
