Senior Account Manager – Head of Accounts -Waste and Recycling

Leading Waste Management and Recycling Company, currently seeking a Senior Account Manager / Head of Accounts to cover their Oil and Hazardous Liquid Waste collections operations in the Midlands.

PACKAGE: £50-60k plus car or car allowance, pension and commission

PATCH: Midlands – Birmingham, Dudley, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Account Manager, to join a growing waste management company and thrive in a growth industry.

CLIENT
My client is a market-leading organisation in the waste and recycling sector. Due to proactive expansion, they are looking to hire a Senior Account Manager to manage the team responsible for delivering account retention and growth with Oil and Hazardous Liquid Waste collections users across the Midlands.

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Be a fantastic communicator who is confident building relationships with new and existing clients.
• Previous Account Management experience required with ANY Waste Management background considered.
• Experience in Hazardous waste is essential for example Clinical waste, WEE waste, or Tankers
• You will possess great written and verbal communication skills.
• 2 years’ experience in hazardous waste management
• Understanding of WM3 waste classification

ROLE
You will manage a team of account managers, ensuring they are retaining and developing their portfolio of customers, whilst maintaining margin and profit levels. You will liaise with other internal departments to ensure external client satisfaction. You will manage the company’s full range of waste management and Oil and Hazardous Liquid Waste collection services.

EXPERIENCE
You MUST HAVE a proven track record of people management, ideally within the waste management sector.
Either managing a field sales or account management team.
You MUST demonstrate stability in previous roles.
