SEEKING RECYCLING SALES, COMMERCIAL, OR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST FOR SCRAP METAL PROCUREMENT

We’re seeking an adept Sales/Business Development Manager with a strong background, ideally in waste management and commodities such as paper, plastics, and metals.

ROLE: Metal Procurement Specialist

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

As a Trader/Buyer/Business Development Manager, you’ll thrive in an autonomous environment, sourcing leads through various channels including cold calling, field sales, internet research, and leveraging existing industry contacts to secure contracts for various ferrous and non-ferrous metals from industrial plants, including automotive industries, factories, and manufacturing companies.

Previous experience in Ferrous or Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling is advantageous but not essential, while experience within Waste Management is desirable.

Key Attributes:

Demonstrated success in sourcing, buying, or trading commodities, or within waste management.
Track record of sales achievements, with the ability to generate leads from day one.
Established industry contacts and the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.
Highly motivated, confident, and professional, with strong negotiation skills.
Industry Backgrounds: Metal Recycling, Non-Ferrous, Waste Management, Scrap Recycling, Ferrous, Aluminium, Plastic, Paper/Card, Stainless Steel, Electrical Cable.
