WE ARE NOW RECRUITING FOR AN EXPERIENCED PROCESS / PROJECT ENGINEER FOR A LEADING WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING COMPANY.

TITLE: Process/Project Engineer – Hazardous waste

CLIENT: I am recruiting on behalf of a Waste Management and Recycling company. They are now looking for a skilled Process Engineer with extensive experience to add to their growing talent pool.

Package: Up to £40,000, Pension, DIS, Bonus,

LOCATION: Lancaster and the North West

Previous industries (not exhaustive): Waste Management, Chemical Manufacturing. Anaerobic Digestion, landfill gas, EfW – energy from waste, energy recovery facility, energy, generation, MBT, MRF, energy.

Previous Job Titles: Process Engineer, Auditor, Project Engineer, Quality Assurance and Control Engineer, Quality Manager, Processing Engineer, Turnkey Solutions.

ROLE: Process/Project Engineer – Hazardous waste

This role will see you ensuring sites comply with Health and Safety practices and procedures.

You will provide training and support to the Capital Projects and Engineering team, including any contractors and sub- contractors.

In this position, you will be completing weekly and monthly reports on all auditing and inspections, raising any issues as required.

Take responsibility for ensuring that all work being undertaken follows the spec and drawings as planned.
Create and Implement written RAMS and Task Instructions

You will help work towards achieving continuous improvement throughout all processes.

EXPERIENCE- Process/Project Engineer – Hazardous waste

You will have previous experience in a Process Engineer position or related.

You will be conversant with ISO 19001, 14001 and 18001.

You will hold a City & Guilds / NVQ in Engineering or equivalent and a Quality Auditor qualification would be beneficial

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must for this position.

You will be able to work as part of a team and to your own initiative, with the ability to prioritise your workload effectively.

Due to the nature of this position, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence.

You will have gained previous experience working on large process projects, such as: power, chemical, water or steel.
