Plant Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) required from a process background – chemical, food etc. to undertake maintenance at a production site in the waste management sector
TITLE: Plant Engineer (Chemical Process Engineer or Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer) – Anaerobic Digestion / Production / Food / Waste Management
Salary: £40-45K, 10% Bonus, Overtime (x1.5), Pension, Life Assurance
Location: Candidates will be considered from Stevenage, Luton, Letchworth Garden City, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, St Albans, Dunstable, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Cambridge and surrounding area.
My Client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain an Anaerobic Digestion / Biogas / CHP / EfW plant. Experience in a process based role in the following sectors would be ideal:
Energy from Waste, Biogas, chemical process, cosmetics, acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, fuel, petroleum, plastics, polymers, naval, chemical production, large vessel processes, food processing, sugar / flour processing, waste water treatment, biomass, Anaerobic Digestion, CHP, Incinerator, Waste Management, Biomass, Power Station, AD, EfW, ERF, Autoclave, Water Treatment, IVC, Land Fill Gas, MBT (Mechanical Biological Treatment), food waste site, Food Production / Manufacture, Army, Navy, Marine, RAF, REME.
You may have been a Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical or multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer,
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will oversee the Maintenance at a Biological Anaerobic Digestion sites ensuring KPI’s are met, and safety, ISO standards, environmental and company policies are adhered to.
You will ensure all maintenance schedules are adhered to and Anaerobic Digestion processes are optimized using available data
Ensure Plant downtime is minimised.
EXPERIENCE
Experience as a qualified Mechanical Engineer / Chemical Engineer / Process Engineer/ Electrical Engineer/ Multi-skilled engineer ideally time-served, in one of these fields highly desirable:
Excellent safety record ideally NEBOSH or above, IOSH qualified will be considered
Experience managing contractors
