Our Client is a known player within the Metals industry; they are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager within the metals industry

ROLE: Business Development Manager / Sales Executive – Scrap Metal Buyer

PACKAGE: £45,000 basic salary depending on experience + Car + Mobile Phone

LOCATION: London

CLIENT
Our client is a well-known player in the metals industry and due to continued expansion; they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Buyer within the London area and focus on sourcing new clients and contracts.

THE ROLE
This is a field based role covering London. As a Business Development Manager or buyer, you will be required to succeed in an autonomous environment and source leads through cold calling, field sales, internet research and using your existing contacts within the industry and secure contracts for a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from industrial plants such as automotive industries, factories, industrial works, manufacturing companies.

EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will be experienced in the market, although anyone with a service field sales background with the right contacts within industrial plants and industry will be considered. Knowledge of metals and the market is highly preferential, as is anyone with a Business Development background or experience as a buyer.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to generate potential leads from day one
• Have industry contacts of factories and relevant industries
• Be able to work autonomously in a field based role
• Be highly motivated
• Be confident and professional
• Be a seasoned negotiator

Other backgrounds considered: Dry Waste, Hazardous Waste, Press Workers, buyers and anyone who has a wide contact base within factories and the relevant industries.
