Position: SHEQ Advisor – Atherstone
Compensation: £35,000 basic salary
Location: The position is situated in Coventry.

Role: Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Compliance Advisor (SHEQ)
As a SHEQ Compliance Advisor, you will collaborate with the SHEQ Manager to ensure compliance across multiple company sites. Your key responsibilities will include:
Promoting best practices in health and safety and ensuring effective communication to all employees.
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations within the scope of the site and maintaining quality standards.
Conducting regular audits related to health and safety, environmental, and quality.
Managing and maintaining ISO certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
Engaging with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Environmental Agency (EA).
Striving to reduce accidents and near misses on site while upholding the highest product output standards.
Experience Requirements: Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) Advisor
To excel in this role, you should have:
Previous experience in a similar role, such as SHEQ Advisor, HSEQ Officer, Compliance Advisor, Health & Safety Environmental and Quality Advisor, or Lead Auditor.
A pragmatic and professional approach to managing health and safety, quality, and environmental concerns.
A minimum requirement of IOSH with the company support to gain NEBOSH General certification, with potential affiliations to organizations like CIWM or additional NEBOSH environmental qualifications.
Demonstrated success in building relationships with the Health & Safety Executive.
Experience working with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, with an IEMA Auditor qualification being advantageous.
A history of job stability and industry-recognized qualifications, such as IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Environmental, NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH Environmental, or current progress towards these certifications.
Potential affiliations with organizations like AIOSH, TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, CFIOSH, or IEMA.
