Group Engineering and Maintenance Manager
COMPENSATION: £70,000, including Car Allowance & Pension
LOCATION: Liverpool Area (with travel to various sites and occasional overnight stays)
EXPERIENCE: Suitable candidates for this position may have backgrounds as Maintenance Managers, Engineering Managers, Lead Electrical Engineers, or Mechanical Maintenance Managers.
POSITION: Group Engineering and Maintenance Manager
As the Group Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will assume responsibility for the maintenance of equipment within materials handling and processing production operations, primarily centered around conveyor systems. In this role, you will lead a team to minimize downtime. Your focus will be on optimizing Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) and identifying opportunities for enhancements through the use of a computerized system, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Group Engineering and Maintenance Manager
To excel in this role, candidates should hold qualifications as either Electrical or Mechanical Engineers, both of which should be Time Served and accompanied by at least NVQ Level 3, HNC, or higher qualifications, including a degree. You should have a track record of team management and budget oversight. Demonstrated achievements in positively impacting plant availability, safety, and production performance are essential. Additional beneficial qualifications include IOSH or NEBOSH certifications, along with knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
