Environmental Consultant position for total waste solutions provider with a large presence in the waste management sector to assist with client permitting plans.

 

TITLE: Environmental Consultant

 

I am now recruiting on behalf of an established Waste Management company for an experienced Environmental Consultant to undertake site permitting for their clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, who are looking to bolster their consultancy offering and add to their current talent pool.

 

Package: Up to £33,000, plus mileage, pension, laptop, healthcare and mobile.

 

Location: Middlewich

ROLE- Environmental Consultant

 

Managing your own client list, you will carry out desk studies and client visits to issue site permitting. Using your technical knowledge to characterise land quality, you will undertake risk assessments and deliver commercially effective and sustainable solutions. You will keep up to date with all relevant legislation, government guidance and current research to comply with legislative, health and safety, risk assessment and liability issues. Working as part of a team, you will carry out site permitting, site investigations and assessment work to provide reports to support planning and permit applications. You will also ensure that company regulations are being adhered to during your visits and complete all paperwork as necessary.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Environmental Consultant

 

You will have a relevant Environmental Science degree and ideally have experience of preparing applications for Environmental Permits.

 

You will also have experience of liaising with the EA and have built a good working relationship with them.

 

You will possess fantastic written and verbal written communication skills.

 

A full UK driving licence is required and own transport for site visits due to the nature of the role.

 

You will be comfortable working independently to your own initiative and as part of a team.
