Join our client, a leading figure in waste management, as a Credit Controller in their Accounts Payable division. You’ll spearhead financial tasks, emphasizing customer contact to secure prompt payments on outstanding accounts. Based in Chorley and nearby regions, this opportunity offers:

Position: Credit Controller – Sales Ledger
Location: Chorley and Surrounding Areas
Industry: Waste Management

Salary: £28,000 plus pension
Working Hours: 9 am – 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break
Previous Job Titles Considered: Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Account Coordinator, Finance Administrator

Experience Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic proficiency in IT, including fundamental Excel skills; additional IT training provided
Preferably, prior experience in Accounts Administration or related roles, with exposure to customer-facing duties
Ability to grasp concepts swiftly and exhibit initiative, engaging with clients proactively
Capacity to work autonomously and cooperatively within a team setting
