You may have worked in: biomass, wood recycling, commercial waste management, plastics, metals, paper, cardboard, clinical, hazardous, confidential, construction and demolition, SRF, RDF, skip hire, food and organics or green waste recycling
ROLE OVERVIEW
Primarily you will be responsible for sourcing biomass and recycled wood for input into renewable energy generating power stations in the West Midlands
Working closely with waste wood suppliers to maintain relationships and the quality of recycled biomass supply
Ensure you are constantly bringing on board new suppliers (ie waste wood producers) on commercially advantageous terms. This will ensure continuity of biomass supply as demand increases over the next 5 years
Daily interface with the in-house operations teams including transport, processing and energy
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
You could have gained experience in any specialism within waste management
Account, Commercial and Business Development experience is key for this role
Ideally you will combine this with an understanding of how waste operations work (EG: MRFs, SRF or RDF productions sites, recycling or energy from waste or renewable energy operations) or even better some experience working in an operational or compliance led role
