Role: Bid Manager/Tender/Proposal Coordinator – Waste Services
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Having built an excellent reputation over the last 25 years our client is a leading waste management & recycling company operating throughout the Northwest.
Our client is recruiting an experienced Tender/Bid Coordinator/Manager. Supporting the commercial team, you will be responsible for writing and completing tenders across several sectors including NHS, education & commercial including large distribution companies and manufacturing. You will be involved in the tender process from cradle to grave. You will be responsible for managing the preparation and completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ’s), Invitation to Tenders (ITT’s) and tender documents in alignment with customer requirements. You will oversee the complete bid process from start to finish. You will undertake occasional site visits and assist in the presentation of tenders and bids to potential clients. You will manage the flow of documentation and monitor contract notices in a time-critical environment. Based in the Northwest this position is fully office based however my client will consider candidates from further afield with a hybrid WFH pattern in some cases.
You will be an experienced Bid/Tender writer ideally within the waste industry, you will be an excellent communicator highly skilled in verbal and written communications. You must have good typing skills and be well versed in Microsoft Office. A Degree or masters would be an advantage as it demonstrates the ability to research and write reports/dissertations.
